Code18 has tested the scientific quality and effectiveness of the methode in numerous internal studies. On the one hand, the scientific reliability is very high throughout (α = .91 – .93 for business teams, α = .89 – .92 for sports teams). On the other hand, the method shows a very high effectiveness (i.e., validity) correlated to team performance (r = .90).
Code18 regularly cooperates as practice partner in academic theses and empirical studies. From a scientific point of view, we are interested in the following topics:
Study of individual personality development in sports teams (e.g., floorball, handball) with corresponding influence on team cohesion and team performance in a season.
Study team fit (i.e., how well players interact with each other) on team performance based on head to head games of several teams in a season.
DISTRIBUTIONS OF ROLES IN
Study of a social system, e.g., in a school with teachers, students, and parents, including the system roles involved.
Study of a self-organized and self-determined team in times of New Work and Holacracy Systems (e.g., New Work Organization).
